Below is a testimonial from the loving family of Dolores who was one of Nursing Home Guardians’ first clients. Dolores passed away in Oct. 2014.

“We would like to thank Mr. Kolodny and Nursing Home Guardians for their specialized care and concern for my mother-in-law while she was a resident of an area nursing home. Although she recently passed away she was a resident for almost 12 years. She had a severe stroke that left her paralyzed on her dominant side and unable to speak, other than a few words that she was able to repeat. She understood everything we said and was also able to remember things like birthdays and other occasions but she was unable to verbalize her thoughts.

Though someone from the family was there to visit every day, it’s impossible to have someone there 24/7.
The care in nursing homes is not always good and not always consistent. You must be proactive at all times.
That’s where Nursing Home Guardians comes in. They were able to check in periodically and to request records and scour over them and find inconsistencies, which they did.

These services are vital because many nursing homes have a constant turnover in personnel and this complicates the problem of staying on top of things to make sure your loved one is getting the care they have paid for and deserve.

So as one of the very first clients of Nursing Home Guardians we would like to thank them for everything they have done to identify a problem so that we were able to have it corrected and put our minds at ease.

Thank you very much for your services.”
